Please provide any advice to graduate students related to career exploration
My advice is pretty simple and revolves around answering the following questions:  1.) What matters the most for you? (family, geographic location, status, money). 2.) Where do you see yourself achieving in the next 10 years while being happy and true to yourself/future family? 3.) Go back and adjust number 1 to fit your future goals and aspirations.  4.) Now you can search for the appropriate position/organization to meet your long-term goals. Keep in mind that there might be some adjustments/sacrifices along the way.
