Briefly describe your professional career, including your employment history and notable accomplishments.
I am a recent graduate of the Applied Experimental Psychology PhD program at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. During my graduate training, I served as Project Coordinator for an NIH-funded alcohol intervention and I received pre-doctoral funding to support my dissertation and training through a National Research Service Award (F31) from the National Institutes of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, a division of the NIH. Throughout grad school I also served as the course Instructor for 3 separate courses across 7 semesters. To enhance my methodological and statistical expertise, I joined the Department of Biobehavioral Health and The Methodology Center at Penn State as a Research Associate after graduation in August 2016. As of August 2017, I moved to the Edna Bennett Pierce Prevention Research Center as an Assistant Research Professor. More information is available here: https://sites.psu.edu/alindencarmichael/
