My current research focuses on the relationship between sustainability/triple bottom line practices and competitiveness in organizations.  I also do research on how sustainability is integrated in higher education.  Most recently, I have been examining how colleges and universities are responding to the sea changes in the higher education industry.
Some of my most enjoyable and rewarding work has been developing and implementing curriculum and courses in sustainability at the undergraduate and graduate levels at Jefferson.  I have served on University committees and search committees at all levels, and have been closely involved in student activities, from recruiting to placement.

For part of my undergraduate work, I attended the Hazleton Campus of Penn State before transferring to University Park.  In addition to my academic career, I have also worked at General Electric, U.S. Department of Defense, and U.S. Department of Agriculture.
