Briefly describe your professional career, including your employment history and notable accomplishments.

  • I am currently a research associate at the Methodology Center at Penn State. My research interest is in the development and optimization of behavioral, biobehavioral, and biomedical interventions.
  • Previously, I completed a T32 postdoctoral fellowship at Penn State in the Prevention and Methodology Training program.
  • Between my Masters and PhD, I worked as a project coordinator for several research studies at Georgia State University. I retained many of these responsibilities throughout my doctoral program.
  • During my Masters Degree I worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention in the Epidemiology branch.
  • After I graduated college, before starting graduate school, I spent a year working in two jobs: as a program manager in a non-profit that supported individuals with cancer and their families and then also as a merchandising manager for a sporting goods store.

  • In 2016, I was awarded the Public Health Achievement Award from Georgia State University which signified my contribution to the field and academic achievement during my doctoral program.
